Biography

Attorney Kate Knowles brings more than a decade of courtroom experience to the firm’s Family Law practice. She is committed to helping her clients find a positive path forward from the complex legal matters affecting their family dynamics.

As a former senior deputy district attorney in Denver and Golden, Kate handled high-stakes criminal matters involving domestic violence, child abuse, and protection orders. She also spent time in the D.A.’s Family Violence Unit. During her tenure as a prosecutor, Kate brought more than 100 jury trials, including murder, to verdicts. Now she leverages that experience to help her clients facing high-conflict family law matters.

Kate approaches her clients’ needs with compassion and the understanding that their experience is likely to be one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
