Kathryn L. Sears is an Associate in the Philadelphia office in the casualty litigation department. Kathryn assists in the defense of a wide variety of matters including construction defects, motor vehicle accidents, and general liability. Prior to joining Margolis Edelstein, Kathryn worked for the Bucks County District Attorney’s office and a small Plaintiffs firm.
Kathryn earned her JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law as a Beasley Scholar. During law school, she participated in the Integrated Trial Advocacy curriculum and worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Kenneth Powell, Jr. Kathryn also assisted in the filing of FTCA claims for families separated at the border, Freedom of Information Act requests, and worked on a nationwide research project for the Washington Office on Latin America.
Kathryn participated in Temple University’s Summer in Rome program during law school, and studied international law and policy during a semester in Melbourne, Australia during her undergraduate studies.
