She later received her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2021. During law school, Kathryn excelled academically, earning multiple CALI Awards and receiving the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. She was actively involved in the Trial Advocacy Team, Phi Alpha Delta, and Duquesne’s Urban Development Practicum.

Before joining Hardin Thompson, Kathryn was a member of the Civil Litigation Department at MacDonald Illig, where she expanded her practice to include insurance defense alongside other civil litigation matters.
