Biography

Joining the firm in 2011, Ms. Eisenstein brings a broad background in accounting, tax and administrative law. Graduating from the University of Michigan with a joint major in economics and accounting, Ms. Eisenstein worked for the public accounting firm of C.H. Rubin & Company in Ann Arbor. After working for eight years in public accounting and tax software support, Ms. Eisenstein obtained her Master of Science in Taxation with distinction from Walsh College. She pursued her legal education at the University of Detroit Mercy and graduated third in her class. During law school, Ms. Eisenstein summered at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in the employee benefits department and at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, LLP in the tax department. Ms. Eisenstein was a member of law review and published a case digest: MacDonald v. PKT, Inc., 80 Det. Mercy L. Rev. 275 (2003) and a note: Equal opportunity for all...or at least until the budget runs out! EEOC v. Waffle House, 80 Det. Mercy L. Rev. 411 (2003). Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Eisenstein clerked for the Honorable Mona K. Majzoub, Federal Magistrate for the Eastern District of Michigan
