Biography

Keanna A. Seabrooks is an Associate in the Railroad Law Practice Group in Burn White’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. Ms. Seabrooks concentrates her practice in railroad defense litigation. Prior to joining Burns White, Ms. Seabrooks practiced bankruptcy law in the Western District of Pennsylvania, and credit card defense and consumer defense at a Pittsburgh-area law firm. In addition, Ms. Seabrooks has experience in insurance defense and professional liability.

Ms. Seabrooks graduated magna cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. Following college, she attended Duquesne University School of Law on a full academic, merit-based scholarship and earned her J.D. in June 2017. At Duquesne Law, Ms. Seabrooks was a Juris Staff Writer and served on the executive board of the Black Law Students Association. In addition, Ms. Seabrooks was a recipient of the 2015 McGinley Public Service Law Fellowship award which she used as funding for her legal internship at the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender. She also performed pro bono work for The Name Change Project, The Expungement Project, and The Landlord Tenant Project during her law school career.

Ms. Seabrooks is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is admitted to practice in District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the American Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar, and the Allegheny County Bar associations where she currently serves on the committees of the Young Lawyers Division and Homer S. Brown Division.
