Keaton Elliott

Keaton Elliott is an associate attorney dedicated to immigration law, helping clients pursue protection, lawful status, and other immigration solutions. His work includes asylum matters, Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases, adjustment of status, humanitarian-based relief, employment authorization, deferred action, and related filings for individuals and families. Before joining the firm, Keaton spent roughly 18 months at a nonprofit organization serving unaccompanied children in immigration proceedings. He met with minors in Office of Refugee Resettlement custody, delivered Know-Your-Rights presentations, evaluated potential avenues of relief, and prepared core applications such as asylum filings and SIJ petitions. He also gained federal litigation experience by bringing a habeas case in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana that helped secure the release of two children from foster care placements. Earlier, Keaton clerked for about two years at a private immigration practice in Indiana, assisting with a wide variety of cases, including Military Parole in Place, work permit applications, adjustment filings, and deferred action requests. Keaton earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2024 and his B.A. from Indiana University Bloomington in 2020, and he is fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, he enjoys making music, riding motorcycles, and spending time at home with his wife, their two cats, and their dog.
