Biography

Keith W. Brunstrom is an attorney and shareholder in Brunstrom Law Office, P.C. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia (B.S. in Agriculture, 1984), and the University of Colorado School of Law (J.D. with Emphasis in Taxation 1988). Keith was with a law firm in Jefferson City, Missouri from September 1988 through April 2002. In May 2002, Keith returned to his roots, opening an office in his home town of Ashland, Missouri - his practice is based in central Missouri, with major emphasis in the areas of estate planning, elder law, special needs trusts, and planning for persons with disabilities, as well as probate and trust administration and business planning. He has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) since 2001 and served on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Chapter of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (MoNAELA) from 2003-06, and served as Chapter Treasurer (2006-07), Secretary (2007-08), President-Elect (2008-09), President (2009-10), and Immediate Past-President (2010-11). Keith has been a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys since 1988 and served on its Board of Governors from 1998 to 2003. He is also a member of The Missouri Bar; American Bar Association; Boone County Bar Association; and Cole County Bar Association. Mr. Brunstrom is a frequent speaker on legal issues concerning estate planning, probate and elder law. Keith was recognized by MoNAELA as the Outstanding Elder Law Attorney of the Year for 2004-05; and received MoNAELA's Outstanding Achievement Award in 2005
