Keld R. Wenge, a seasoned litigator at Pond Lehocky Giordano,
embarked on his journey with the firm in June 2014, dedicating his
practice exclusively to representing injured claimants in
Pennsylvania workers’ compensation matters. His role provides him
with the daily opportunity to engage with diverse individuals and
advocate on their behalf against insurance carriers reluctant to
provide entitled benefits.
Certified as a
Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist by the Pennsylvania Bar
Association, authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Mr. Wenge
holds admissions to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. His
commitment to legal excellence is further exemplified by his role as
a Committee Member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of
Pennsylvania and as a certified arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court
of Common Pleas.
Beyond his legal
practice, Mr. Wenge actively contributes to the legal community and
pro bono initiatives. He served as a member of the Bar Leadership
Council for Philadelphia’s Community Legal Services (CLS) and
volunteered for Philadelphia VIP, offering pro bono legal services to
low-income Philadelphians.
Before joining
Pond Lehocky, Mr. Wenge honed his skills at various trial firms,
representing injured Pennsylvanians in state and federal jury and
arbitrational matters, including construction site accidents,
industrial accidents, OSHA violations, insurance bad faith, products
liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation, and Social
Security disability.
Mr. Wenge's
commitment to education is evident through his presentations to
Temple University Legal Society’s law students on the practice of
law. Additionally, he regularly contributes editorial articles to
local media outlets and appears as a guest speaker on regional news
outlets, sharing insights into workers’ compensation law. His
expertise extends to speaking engagements at local building trade
organizations, where he sheds light on the rights of injured workers.
Mr. Wenge earned
his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Maryland,
College Park, and obtained his law degree in 2007 from the Columbus
School of Law at the Catholic University of America. During law
school, he served as an editor for the Commlaw Conspectus – The
Catholic University Journal of Communications Law and Technology
Policy.
