Biography

I have over 25 years of experience practicing family law exclusively in California, with an emphasis on comprehensive, compassionate, and highly personalized litigation and mediation. I take a hands-on approach to every case, working closely with clients to understand their concerns and the realities they are facing. With a focus on strategic resolution and forward-looking advocacy, I guide individuals and families through the complex challenges of the divorce process and its emotional and financial implications. This includes child custody, annulments, marital agreements (pre- and postnuptial), parentage, LGBTQ+ issues, spousal support, relocations, and high-asset cases involving business valuations, real estate portfolios, equity compensation plans, and intricate financial tracing. I have also handled International Hague Convention custody cases involving the wrongful international removal of children. These cases are uniquely challenging and often involve urgent timelines and demand careful coordination with foreign counsel and courts.

I am an active member of several professional organizations and remain current on the evolving legal landscape and developments in family law in California. I previously served as a board member of the Alameda County Family Law Association (ACFLA) and as an associate member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court, an organization dedicated to fostering excellence in professionalism, ethics, and civility. As a Short Cause Settlement Conference Volunteer for the Alameda County Superior Court, I assist parties in resolving disputes efficiently and thoughtfully through facilitated settlement discussions. In 2025, I completed Harvard University’s prestigious Program on Negotiation (PON).

My clients include critically acclaimed authors, entertainers, business executives, industry and medical professionals, high-net-worth individuals, and individuals and families from all walks of life. Regardless of background or circumstances, I am deeply committed to ensuring that my clients receive unwavering advocacy and personal attention.
