Biography

Kelly is from Princeton, West Virginia. For her undergraduate degree, Kelly attended Bluefield State College where she was a four-year starter on both the Women’s Basketball and Cross-Country teams. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science with concentrations in Political Science and Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she interned in Washington, D.C. for Senator John D. Rockefeller IV.

Upon completing her bachelor’s degree, she attended West Virginia University College of Law. While in law school, Kelly gained experience through her summer clerkships and clinical law work. Kelly earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May of 2015. She began her practice in energy law and federal black lung litigation before joining Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown and Poe, PLLC in April 2019.
