Biography

Kelly Robreno Koster has a broad labor and employment law practice that includes litigation, counseling, workplace investigations, and mergers and acquisitions support. She advises employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and laws governing discrimination, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, and statutory employee benefits. Kelly counsels clients on navigating workplace accommodations, return-to-work issues, religious accommodations, and evolving requirements for non-compete agreements and employment policies. She also defends employers in litigation involving these same areas, including wage and hour claims, discrimination suits, and contractual disputes.

Kelly provides these services to clients across a range of industries, including energy, finance, health care, and infrastructure. She previously served as general counsel for an international staffing company, managing global employment law compliance and advising on cross-border workforce issues.

Earlier in her career, she served as a law clerk to former Chief Judge Jose L. Linares in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
