Kelly O’Reilly, a founding partner at Wilner & O’Reilly,
APLC, brings a wealth of experience to the firm as a former District
Adjudications Officer for the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization
Service in Los Angeles and Orange County. During his tenure, Mr.
O’Reilly shouldered the responsibility of adjudicating a spectrum
of applications, including Employment-based and Family-based requests
for Lawful Permanent Residency, Travel, Work Authorization, and
Waivers of Inadmissibility. His role extended to conducting Marriage
Fraud Interviews and processing Naturalization applications.
Mr. O’Reilly’s
federal service included participation in a panel tasked with
devising innovative solutions to intricate challenges within the
Immigration Service. Many of these solutions, crafted under his
guidance, continue to influence the practices of today’s
Immigration Service employees. His unique background equips him with
the ability to navigate clients' cases through the often complex
landscape of U.S. Immigration Service procedures. Mr. O’Reilly
further honed his skills at the Immigration Service's Federal Law
Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, Georgia, graduating
with honors.
Admitted to the
State Bar of California, U.S. District Courts, U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, Mr. O’Reilly is
affiliated with prestigious legal organizations, including the Los
Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the
American Trial Lawyers Association, and the J. Reuben Clark Law
Society of Orange County. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the
Immigration Law Section of the Riverside County Bar Association.
Drawing on his
extensive expertise, Mr. O’Reilly is recognized as an authority in
all aspects of Immigration Law. His practice spans defending clients
facing removal from the United States to assisting those seeking
refuge under international asylum laws. Notably, he has represented
celebrities, athletes, businessmen, and countless families in
realizing their American dreams. His success is attributed to an
empathetic understanding of his clients' situations and an unwavering
determination to ensure each achieves their immigration goals.
A native of
Fresno, California, Mr. O’Reilly earned his law degree from the
University of La Verne, College of Law, and his Bachelor of Science
degree from Brigham Young University. Fluent in Cantonese from his
time as a former missionary in Hong Kong, Mr. O’Reilly is married
with five children.
In addition to
his professional pursuits, Mr. O’Reilly engages in pro bono
activities, having served as a former LDS Missionary to Hong Kong and
contributing to U.S. Military Immigration Assistance since 1999. His
commitment to legal education is evident through seminars and
workshops, where he shares insights on immigration law. With a
