Biography

Kelsey E. Lam focuses her corporate practice on the restaurant, food and beverage, and consumer goods industries. She advises investors and businesses on a broad range of matters, including debt and equity financing matters, mergers and acquisitions, early stage company representation and general corporate governance. Kelsey assists clients in navigating both traditional and nontraditional development strategies, including joint ventures, licenses, franchises, and management agreements.

Kelsey developed business experience prior to entering private practice, having served as a founding member of a retail-tech wellness startup and an investment banker advising companies and their creditors in distressed situations. Kelsey’s experience in finance and the startup space has helped her in understanding the goals of her clients and approaching her legal practice with a business focused mindset.
