Kenneth A Porro

Kenneth A. Porro, has over forty years of governmental, land use, real estate and business litigation experience practicing throughout the State of New Jersey. Ken is General Corporate Counsel to the Meadowlands Municipal Mayors Committee; Meadowlands Construction Officials Association; Industrial Steel Structures, LLC; Lyndhurst Little League Inc. and Indian Hills Boys Soccer Boosters Assoc. He has previously served as general counsel to the Lyndhurst Board of Education and the Town of Secaucus. Ken was the Wyckoff Township elected representative to the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School Board of Education from 2012 to 2018. Ken’s writings further reflect his established knowledge in land use and property valuation disputes. He is the author of “Redevelopment through Condemnation,” “The Effect of Government Restrictions on Valuation of Property,” and “Defending Contempt Penalties Under the Clean Water Act.” Ken’s article, “The Freeze Act Gone Wild” was published in the December 2019 edition of New Jersey Lawyer, the New Jersey State Bar Association’s professional journal. Ken is a graduate of Loyola University, Baltimore, Maryland and University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a member of the Bergen and Hudson County Bar Associations, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Inns of Court Foundation. Ken has received the dual honor of being listed in the 2024 edition of “Super Lawyers” by New Jersey Magazine and the 2025 edition of Best Lawyers in America®. He is also a past Condemnation Commissioner and lecturer for the New Jersey State Bar Association on Adverse Possession, Land Use and Municipal Tax Appeals as well as other local government/land use topics.
