Biography

Kerri Rupert is an associate practicing in professional liability. She represents healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, financial and investment advisors, attorneys, insurance brokers and agents in professional liability litigation. She also defends individuals and businesses against claims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death.Kerri is one of the few attorneys in South Carolina who had the opportunity to become well-acquainted with the appellate motion practice during her time as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Kerri also reviewed appellate briefs and presented cases to the Court. During law school, she gained experience in a broad range of civil litigation through her work as law clerk with the Richland County Public Defender's office and the South Carolina House of Representatives Judiciary Committee.Kerri attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.Kerri volunteers her time through the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division and is a member of the Junior League of Columbia.
