Kerry Krueger, a partner with Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry & Christopherson, joined the firm in 2006. Ms. Krueger has a litigation background and her practice primarily consists of elder abuse litigation, employment litigation and advice, medical malpractice litigation, construction and property disputes, trust litigation. She represents large and small employers including hospitals, physicians groups, large and small construction companies, trucking companies, and local and regional commercial business in wrongful termination, harassment and general liability litigation. She also provides clients with estate planning and business formation services.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Krueger has successfully mediated and settled a variety of cases involving employment rights, elder abuse claims, negligence claims, and contract claims. Ms. Krueger has successfully tried cases ranging from reasonable accommodation and retaliation to fraud to quiet tile and easement rights. Prior to her career in law, Ms. Krueger had a successful career in higher education administration in which she was responsible for all aspects of employment matters, contract negotiations, judicial affairs, and faculty and student grievances.
Ms. Krueger serves as a member of the University of the Pacific Physical Therapy Leadership and Development Counsel.
Ms. Krueger is admitted to practice before all of the courts of the State of California and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California.
Ms. Krueger is an avid runner, having completed multiple U.S. and international marathons including, on several occasions, running Boston and New York. She loves to be outdoors, whether it is waterskiing on the Delta, hiking or cross-country skiing in the Sierra or beach combing on any beach. She is a native Virginian who has lived on the east coast, in the mid-west, the south, the northwest, but finds Northern California to be home.
