Kevin Alan Carr: Attorney with DM Injury Law

Biography

Kevin Carr is an experienced Trial Attorney at DM Injury Law who represents victims and families in matters involving motor vehicle collisions, premises accidents, and serious personal injury.

While Kevin has a background in public service, his passion for the law has personal roots. His mother was severely injured by a defective product and faced many legal challenges when the companies involved attempted to deny liability. Fortunately, his mother had good legal representation and was able to obtain rightful compensation and justice for her damages. This experience taught him about the importance of having a good lawyer and shaped his desire to help others who find themselves facing off against powerful corporations that put profits over people and do everything they can to pay victims as little as possible.

A Missouri native who grew up in Lee’s Summit, Kevin attended the University of Missouri for both his undergraduate degree in political science and philosophy and his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the school’s Journal of Dispute Resolution, President of the Federalist Society, and participated in Mizzou’s Veterans Clinic helping veterans obtain needed benefits. He also worked in the general counsel’s office of the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Kevin worked on high-level political campaigns and in the Missouri Governor’s Office, where he assisted thousands of Missourians in accessing state services and solving their problems before the state’s administrative agencies. It was in this capacity that he gained invaluable experience helping people who were navigating difficult and unexpected events, and refined his approach of being a calm and compassionate advocate that people can trust to solve their issues.

As a Plaintiffs’ Lawyer with DM Injury Law, Kevin draws from his expansive background and his own personal experiences to help clients fight for the justice they deserve. He is known for his extraordinarily close attention to detail, personalized approach, and for providing the passionate support victims and families need to navigate their claims. This includes devoting the necessary time to helping clients understand their legal rights, making himself readily available, and developing the detailed strategies that position them for the maximum financial recovery possible.

Outside of the courtroom, Kevin enjoys spending time with his dad and uncle hunting for hidden treasures at estate and garage sales, and tooling around town, cooking new recipes, and catching up on favorite shows with his fiancée.
