Biography

Kevin Feeney has been dedicated to the vigorous defense of individuals facing criminal charges since 1991. His educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, in 1986, followed by the attainment of his Juris Doctorate degree from the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA, in 1990.

Mr. Feeney's legal career commenced as a law clerk for President Judge Albert E. Acker of the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas in Mercer, PA. As a Senior Trial Attorney with the Berks County Public Defender’s Office, he has garnered a remarkable track record, successfully representing clients in jury trials encompassing a wide spectrum of serious criminal charges, including homicide, sexual assault, robbery, and weapons offenses.

His expertise extends to Megan’s Law hearings and an array of pre-trial motions, which includes the skillful handling of evidence suppression and habeas corpus cases. Mr. Feeney has also navigated cases involving DNA and electronic surveillance evidence, showcasing his proficiency in contemporary legal challenges.

Furthermore, Kevin Feeney is qualified to handle death penalty cases, meeting the stringent standards set by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for defense counsel in such high-stakes matters.
