Kevin J. Quilty is a commercial litigator who focuses his practice on complex business disputes and class action defense work. Experience: Representative Matters: Representing owner of automobile valuation software in connection with nationwide class action lawsuits.; Representing credentialing association in series of federal antitrust lawsuits.; Representing facial recognition technology developer in connection with privacy and biometric class action lawsuits.; Represented American multinational technology company in contract dispute regarding stalled software implementation. After prevailing on partial summary judgment and defeating a cross-motion for summary judgment, negotiated a settlement.; Represented foreign private equity firm in complex fraud and breach of contract matter in Delaware Chancery Court. Resulted in settlement for the client.; Defended major Japanese manufacturer and several of its U.S. subsidiaries in ICC Arbitration in California involving the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station ('SONGS') that stemmed from claimed failure of certain critical components manufactured and supplied by the Japanese manufacturer with claims exceeding $7 billion, and awarded fees and costs as the 'prevailing party' in excess of $58 million.; Represented global advertising agency network in breach of contract and indemnification matter.; The above representations were handled by Mr. Quilty prior to his joining Greenberg Traurig, LLP.; Internships: Law Clerk, Federal Trade Commission, 2013 and 2014
