Biography

Kevin Lester Griffis is an Associate in the firm's Miami office, where he practices in the areas of insurance defense litigation. His practice focuses on personal injury, premises liability, and wrongful death.

Mr. Griffis graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and later obtained a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. He earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of law where he graduated magna cum laude in the top 5% of his class. During law school, he was on the Dean's List every semester and received Book Awards for achieving the highest grade in Property Law, Insurance Law, Article II UCC, Criminal Procedure, Family Law, and Florida Constitutional Law.

After law school, Mr. Griffis was invited to speak before Florida's 4th District Court of Appeals for achieving one of the highest scores in the state on the Florida Bar Exam.

Mr. Griffis brings valuable insight to the firm due to his diverse professional background, which includes having worked in both the insurance industry, law enforcement, and private investigations.
