Legal Experience

Mr. Leahy has more than 20 years of experience litigating tort, contract, and intellectual property disputes. As panel counsel for several corporate clients he has obtained jury verdicts in California and Texas and participated in matters that resolved prior to trial in New York, Massachusetts and New Jersey. In addition to his trial experience spanning the inception of cases to their conclusion, Mr. Leahy has served as head national brief writer, lead partner developing the medical and scientific defense strategy for a national trial effort, and was major contributor and joint designer for a software database and document repository that increased client efficiency and trial effectiveness. He currently handles tort-related allegations for clients throughout Texas, where he maintains a particular focus litigating brain injuries associated with falls, car accidents, and non-subscriber work related injuries.
