My name is Kevin Lemieux and I am an experienced trial attorney in San Diego. After 16 years of working at law firms, I decided to open my own practice in January of 2018. My firm is dedicated to helping families! We focus on all aspects of family law including:

I’ve helped hundreds of families and individuals navigate the court system, protect their children, and set up their family’s future. I have literally tried hundreds of cases in a time when most lawyers have never had a single trial. Having this experience, and working for myself, allows me to “pick and choose” the types of cases that I want to handle. Because of that, I can focus all of my energy, time, and expertise on my clients and their cases. Besides practicing in Family Court, I am also a Certified Specialist in Child Welfare Law. That means that I am recognized by the California Bar Association as an expert practitioner in those matters.
I am also a teacher of trial skills and trial practice: I plan and lead seminars for lawyers who want to improve their in-court performance. I’m certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) as a trial skills instructor, where I am also a faculty member. I am also a lead faculty member for the Juvenile Law Society and Advocacy Training Center. Having the ability to teach and mentor other lawyers has really helped me focus on my own passion for trial work. Helping a lawyer succeed on their case is just as satisfying as helping my own clients directly. I am very thankful for the opportunities I have to teach other lawyers. I always say that I learn as much from my lawyer students as they learn from me!
