Kian Raoul Magana

Kian Magana, a Pasadena native, always aspired to establish his practice in his hometown. After earning his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 2010 and his law degree from UC Davis King Hall School of Law in 2014, he began his career at a boutique criminal defense firm in Los Angeles. There, he defended clients in a wide range of cases, from traffic violations to high-profile murder trials, many of which garnered media attention and involved celebrities. Kian later transitioned to high-stakes civil and probate litigation at a prominent Century City firm, where he handled disputes involving sums exceeding $100 million. Despite his success in civil litigation, he returned to criminal law, joining the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor. For over two years, he gained invaluable insight into the prosecution process and how cases can unravel under scrutiny.
