While in law school, he spent time serving as the President of the Federalist Society and as the Treasurer of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Before law school, Kiefer attended the College of the Ozarks, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting while also serving as the Captain of the Men’s Basketball Team. Kiefer was licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri in 2023.Before joining the Union, MO divorce and family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm, Kiefer most recently worked as an Associate Attorney for a law firm in Hillsboro, MO, where he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda, motions, and pleadings across various practice areas, including real estate, landlord-tenant, litigation, and probate law. He represented clients in hearings and motion practice, demonstrating strong advocacy skills, and drafted and reviewed contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks. Previously, in the Fall of 2020, he served as a Certified Legal Intern at Washburn Law’s Small Business & Nonprofit Transactional Law Clinic, where he interviewed clients, drafted legal documents tailored to their needs, and collaborated with partner interns to resolve issues.
