Biography

Kimberly B. Allen launched her divorce and family law practice in Garden City, Long Island, in 1995. After a decade of thriving litigation work in both Federal and State Courts across Long Island, New York City’s five boroughs, and Westchester County, she decided to relocate her home and office to the Capital Region to embrace its superior quality of life. Today, her practice covers Columbia, Albany, Rensselaer, and Schenectady Counties, extending through Fulton, Essex, and Montgomery Counties and reaching Warren and Washington Counties. Recognized by the Appellate Division as a dedicated advocate for children, Ms. Allen volunteers with Wellspring of Saratoga (formerly Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services). She is admitted to the New York State Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association, and the Adirondack Women’s Bar Association, and also practices in Connecticut courts, with additional pro hac vice appearances in several other states.
