Kimberly J. MacLeod

Attorney Kim MacLeod was born in Seattle and grew up in Edmonds, WA. Kim graduated from Meadowdale High School, and then attended the University of Washington, where she played tenor saxophone for four years in the Husky Marching Band. After graduating from the UW in 1983 with a degree in English, Kim attended the University of Puget Sound Law School (now Seattle University School of Law), earning her law degree in 1986.

Law Practice

From mid-1986 until 1998, Kim was in private practice, concentrating primarily in representing clients in filing consumer and small business bankruptcy cases. In the 1990s, she also served as a District Court Judge Pro-Tem.

From 1998 until the fall of 2009, Kim worked as Staff Attorney for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee in Seattle, serving as Senior Staff Attorney from 1999 through September 2009.
