Biography

Kimberly Bliss counsels individuals and families on elder law and long-term care needs and assists clients in navigating and applying for Medicaid benefits, settling the estates of their loved ones, and special needs planning. Her clients are located throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties and New York City.

Ms. Bliss is a respected leader in the elder law field, regularly giving presentations to attorneys and the community on long-term care planning, as well as attending events held by the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association to keep current on policy changes. She coordinates Hollis Laidlaw and Simon’s educational program for the trusts and estates practice and mentors attorneys who are new to the practice.

Before practicing law, Ms. Bliss worked at White Plains Hospital for 10 years and draws upon her health care experience to inform and strengthen her elder law practice. With her approachable manner, depth of knowledge, and personal insight, she strives to ease her clients through a difficult process and be a resource to families whose loved ones are aging.
