Kimberly W. Stout

Kimberly W. Stout has practiced criminal defense in the metro-Detroit area for over 36 years. A graduate of the University of Detroit School of Law (1985), she is admitted to practice in Michigan, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Early in her career, Kimberly was mentored by renowned criminal defense attorney Neil H. Fink, working with him for 25 years and gaining invaluable courtroom experience.

Recognized for her legal excellence, Kimberly has been listed in Best Lawyers in America every year since 2009 and in Super Lawyers. She has also been named one of Detroit’s "Top Women Lawyers" by Hour Magazine. Kimberly is an active member of the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where she frequently speaks on criminal defense topics.

Beyond her legal work, Kimberly is deeply involved in the Detroit community. She serves on the board of the Ennis Center for Children and supports various international initiatives, including HIV/AIDS counseling and early childhood education programs in South Africa.
