Biography

Kira J. Goo is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Her areas of practice include business, construction, real estate, condominium, and complex commercial litigation. Ms. Goo graduated from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, William S. Richardson School of Law in 2021.

While in law school, Ms. Goo was the Executive Editor of the Asian-Pacific Law and Policy Journal, Scholar Advocate for Professor Eric K. Yamamoto, research assistant to Professor John L. Barkai, and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sabrina S. McKenna, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i, and the Honorable Bert I. Ayabe, then-Judge of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit. Ms. Goo also received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for The Supreme Court in Flux.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Goo practiced at another Honolulu law firm representing insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters.
