Biography

Krista S. Peace is a dedicated family law attorney who provides skilled representation at both the trial and appellate levels. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Studies from Colby-Sawyer College and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Since entering the legal profession, Krista has focused exclusively on family law, developing a passion for guiding clients through the unique legal and emotional challenges these cases present. Krista has secured significant victories at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, representing clients across all 100 counties in complex appellate matters. Notably, she recently succeeded in vacating a permanent child custody order in Mecklenburg County and an attorneys’ fees judgment in a Watauga County domestic violence case. While in law school, Krista was recognized for her oral advocacy and served in leadership roles on the UNC Journal of International Law and the International Law Moot Court Team. Outside of her legal practice, Krista enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
