A former Treasurer for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Fort Myers Alumnae Chapter, she also held leadership roles in the Lee County Association for Women Lawyers. She is a former member of the Calusa Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristie attended law school with a focus on advocacy, serving as President/Justice of the Alexander Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and Vice-President of the Black Law Students Association. Her dedication to community service earned her pro bono honors, and she argued cases in North Carolina State and Federal Court. Preceding law school, Kristie excelled in the investment and insurance industries, managing substantial client portfolios.
A notable personal achievement for Kristie is the completion of her long-standing endeavor of reading the Bible in full by December 2023.
