Kristine Suzanne Cummings

Ms. Cummings is a State Bar Certified Family Law Specialist, who has been practicing exclusively in the field of family law since 1996. She graduated from the University of California at Davis School of Law in 1992 and became a certified family law specialist in 2004. She is a member of the following professional organizations: the Family Law Section and Children's Counsel Section of the State Bar of California; the Sacramento County Bar Association, Family Law Section; Association of Certified Family Law Specialists; Sacramento chapter of the Christian Legal Society (Secretary); and the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group. Ms. Cummings was elected in 2007 to serve a five-year term on the Sacramento County Family Law Executive Committee, which oversees the family law section of the county bar and serves as a liaison between the bench and the bar on family law procedural and substantive issues. She accepts court-appointments for representing minors in family law cases in both Sacramento and Yolo counties. The law practice is presently supported by a receptionist, and a legal assistant, Valerie Zharinova.
