Biography

Kristyn Recchia is an attorney at Dickinson Wright in their Troy office. Her work includes all family and domestic relations law, as well as commercial litigation. Her broad range of services includes divorce, paternity actions, child and spousal support, custody and parenting time issues, enforcement actions, adoption, annulment and separation matters, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, change of domicile, property settlements, and Friend of the Court matters. Kristyn believes her strongest attributes as a practitioner are her ability to adapt in complex matters, her attentiveness to her clients’ specific needs,  and her willingness to immerse herself in her cases to ensure she receives the best possible results for her clients. Kristyn will skillfully guide her clients through the legal process always mindful that she is often dealing with emotional and stressful situations. Before joining Dickinson Wright, Kristyn worked for two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Wendy L. Potts of the Oakland County Circuit Court. She also has extensive experience in her practice from another prestigious Michigan-based law firm from working as a family law paralegal prior to attending and for the duration of law school.
