Biography

Kyle Westerfer is an Associate with Margolis Edelstein’s General Liability group in Philadelphia. Prior to joining the firm, Kyle was an Assistant District Attorney at the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. He was a member of the Crash Investigations unit where he was assigned to investigate and prosecute various vehicular crimes from homicide by vehicle to leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

Prior to beginning his career with Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, Kyle was a Certified Legal Intern for their office where he conducted preliminary hearings. He also had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern to the Honorable Gwendolyn N. Bright of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Kyle earned his law degree from Delaware Law School. During his tenure there, he was a member of the mock trial team where he competed in the National Trial Competition. Kyle also earned membership to the Moot Court Honor Society through his performance at their annual intra-scholastic competition, where he advanced to the semi-finals. He then won the National Family Law Moot Court competition hosted by Albany Law School and received the award for Best Oral Advocate of the tournament.
