Lalena (“Lanie”) Turchi has extensive experience in employment counseling and employment practices matters, commercial insurance and corporate compliance, and employee benefits consulting. Prior to joining the firm, she served as General Counsel and Corporate Compliance Officer for a prominent insurance brokerage and risk management firm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. In this role, she provided comprehensive legal guidance on legal risk and liability exposure, including the development of legal and operational best practices. Her efforts supported adherence with insurance-related regulatory standards, while mitigating risk for both the firm and its clientele.
Additionally, Lanie has experience as an insurance broker and employee benefits consultant, where she worked with corporate clients in various industries to implement employee benefits programs, to manage employee relations, and to assist with overall benefits administration and related compliance matters. Lanie’s experience also extends to commercial general litigation, employment litigation, contractual and indemnity insurance coverage litigation, commercial and homeowners’ property loss litigation, construction defect litigation, and premises liability litigation.
Lanie earned her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. During law school, Lanie provided legal services to members of the community through the Rutgers Law Civil Practice Clinic, was a member of the Rutgers Law Hunter Moot Court, and served as Articles Editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy.
