Biography

I have had the honor of fighting for victims and challenging threats to individual civil rights since 1998. I split my time defending the accused and pursuing justice for plaintiffs. Our firms trial practice has taken me to courts in several states and well over a dozen counties. We also are available for appeals. And in that capacity I have had the honor of arguing in every appellate court in the State of Washington, including the Supreme Court of the State of Washington. My federal practice has included submission and/or appearances in federal courts of Washington, Idaho, and Pennsylvania and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. I have enjoyed a near constant volunteer experience with both state and local bar associations. Our firm has managed civil injury cases ranging from vehicle collisions with minimal injuries, to multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. Our criminal practice includes jury trial experience that includes homicide cases and everything down to minor traffic offenses. When I'm not at work, I am with my wife and two boys. We love spending time together at the boys countless activities and sports, in the mountains, and on Puget Sound.
