Lance was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin and raised in Wausau, WI. He currently lives in Wausau with his wife, Heather, and their children, Ayla and Tye. He practices personal injury law, protecting the rights of injured plaintiffs.

Community Involvement
In addition to coaching numerous local youth athletic teams over the years, Lance was elected to the Wausau School District Board of Education in 2011. He has been reelected numerous times and continues to serve on the Board. He currently is the Treasurer and spent four years as the Board President.
