Biography

Lara Miller is a litigation attorney, and her practice is primarily focused on tort defense, including automobile negligence, premises liability, and wrongful death, as well as defending insurance carriers in lawsuits alleging breach of contract, bad faith, and unfair claims practices. In addition to providing representation in the courtroom, Ms. Miller also provides advice to insurers on policy coverage issues and claims handling.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Miller has also defended physician medical malpractice claims, trucking negligence claims, and large commercial losses. Moreover, she has defended clients ranging from local businesses and apartment communities to large Las Vegas resort properties, multi-national retailers, and Fortune 500 insurance carriers. In addition to trial, she regularly participates in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
