Biography

Laura Wagner is an associate at Fishwick & Associates PLC where she focuses on legal research and writing.

Laura received her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 1982, and her J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law in 1990.

Laura clerked for the Honorable David G. Lowe, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia after law school. She was in private practice with the firm of Wagner and Wagner with her husband, Rob, where she focused on appellate work, criminal defense, simple wills, uncontested divorces, and legal research and writing. She has worked with John Fishwick for the past twenty years doing legal research and writing.

Before entering the practice of law, Laura worked for the Denver Bar Association's pro bono program, and the Fairfax Co. Park Authority.

Laura lives and works remotely from Richmond, Virginia, and comes to the Roanoke office as needed.
