Biography

Lauren E. Baretta joined the firm in June 2025 as a medical malpractice litigation associate, representing hospitals, physicians, and health care facilities in medical malpractice litigation. She provides strategic legal defense, conducts case evaluations, manages discovery, and advocates for clients through all stages of litigation.

Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac School of Law in 2024, where she was selected as a Dean’s fellow in recognition of academic achievement and leadership. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal and Vice President of the Public Interest Law Project. Lauren has published two pieces in the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal, including her most recent, Aspirin and a Cup of Coffee: A Case Study on Midol’s Advertising Evolution Post-Sterling.

Prior to joining the firm, Lauren completed a pro bono internship at the Center for Family Justice, representing domestic violence survivors, and was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Award in Sabah, Malaysia.

Lauren is admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
