Biography

Lauren Washington is an Associate in the Litigation Section of Thomas Kennedy Sampson & Tompkins LLP. Ms. Washington received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia, School of Law. There, she was an active participant in various student organizations, including Dean's Ambassadors and the UGA Mock Trial team, where she served on the executive board. Following graduation, Ms. Washington worked for R. Gary Spencer, P.C., a criminal defense and personal injury firm in Downtown Atlanta. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Washington was a 7th Grade English and Step & Dance teacher with the Teach for America 2010 Corps. When she is not working, Lauren enjoys visiting museums and participating in dance classes.
