Biography

Ms. Laurie Dobson joined Thomas J. Henry Law as an associate attorney in 2013 and quickly established herself as a leader within the firm. Ms. Dobson played an integral role in the firm’s Mass Tort operations and ultimately helped to establish Thomas J. Henry Law as the go-to law firm for GM ignition switch-related accidents and injuries.

In 2016, Ms. Dobson was promoted to Executive Associate and made the move to San Antonio to work directly with Thomas J. Henry and the firm’s executive team to streamline the firm’s day-to-day operations, processes, and procedures.

In her new role as General Counsel, Ms. Dobson oversees the firm’s ethics compliance measures, loss prevention activities, risk management, and conflicts management. Ms. Dobson works with our team of 250+ attorneys across Austin, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, to implement firm-wide policies and practices to ensure that Thomas J. Henry Law continues to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.

Ms. Dobson holds a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. During law school, she interned with the Bexar County Probate Court and was a member of multiple student law organizations.
