Throughout my career I have been committed to applying creative win-win negotiation skills and developing and implementing practical legal and business solutions and procedures. My skills and experience include (a) negotiating, documenting, and closing the acquisition and disposition of shopping center, free-standing retail, office, multi-family residential, and industrial property projects; (b) active involvement in and responsibility for the ground up development process and financing for shopping center, free-standing retail, office, multi-family residential, and industrial property projects (c) negotiating and documenting commercial leases (anchor tenant, shopping center, retail store, and office) from both landlord and tenant positions, partnership and joint venture agreements, and design and construction contracts; (d) addressing general corporate matters; and (e) advising clients (and senior management) on a wide range of legal matters, including commercial real estate investment, financing, and sale agreements, lender relationships, litigation matters, contract review and negotiation, environmental law, employment law, construction law, and property management issues.
