Biography

Lazarus is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Department, where he represents employers, insurers, and third-party administrators in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. His legal career began on the plaintiff side, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the workers’ compensation claims process from both perspectives. Lazarus leverages this dual-sided experience to anticipate challenges, craft stronger defense strategies, and provide informed, strategic guidance to clients throughout every case.

Lazarus earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from James Madison University in 2020. After graduation, he worked in government consulting as a business requirements analyst supporting projects with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, he collaborated with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify potential issues and conduct requirements analysis throughout the full project lifecycle.

In 2025, Lazarus received his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School. While in law school, he completed two summer internships with a workers’ compensation plaintiff firm, where he gained hands-on experience and later joined the firm full-time following graduation. He also interned with a personal injury law firm, focusing on personal injury claims and developing a strong foundation in client advocacy and case management.
