Biography

Lee’s practice has focused exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation for the past 20 years. Before joining Morgan & Morgan he represented employers and insurance carriers in claims brought by injured workers. He now represents injured workers. Lee gained valuable insight defending corporations and insurance companies for nearly 2 decades, and he now uses that insight to fight for his clients who have been injured at work. Lee also has a mediation practice.

Lee received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was the Articles Editor of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal. After graduating in 2002, Lee served for a year as law clerk to Judge Paul E. Short, Jr., in the 6th Judicial Circuit. He is a past Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the South Carolina Bar and is a South Carolina Certified Civil Court Mediator. Lee has also served as an adjunct professor in the political science department at the College of Charleston, where he taught a Mock Trial class.
