Leigh R. Bass

Leigh represents ultra-high net worth individuals, companies, family offices and fiduciaries in all aspects of their legal, business and financial activities. He regularly advises his clients in business and investment structuring, corporate mergers, financings and asset acquisitions and divestitures, including real estate. Leigh also counsels his clients on their domestic and international trust and estate planning, family succession planning and asset preservation techniques.

Leigh is fluent in Portuguese and enjoys working with his many Brazilian and Portuguese clients in their native language. Prior to joining the Loeb Block team, Leigh worked at Noronha Advogados in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and thereafter at Linklaters in New York, where he specialized in representing multi-national corporations in a variety of corporate and finance transactions.

Leigh received his B.A. from the University of Southern California, a Certificate of European Legal Studies from the Institut d'Etudes Européennes in Brussels, Belgium, and a J.D. from the McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. He is an active member of the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce and is licensed to practice in New York, California and the District of Columbia.
