Biography

A Sumter native, Gill began his career with Moore Bradley Myers in early 2018. He focuses primarily on state and federal criminal defense, personal injury and workers' compensation. He has also successfully represented clients in landlord tenant disputes, complex business disputes, mechanic's liens and unlawful repossession cases.

After finishing his yearlong clerkship with The Honorable George C. “Buck” James, Jr., Gill went to work for the Honorable Jack Howle of the Third Circuit Public Defender's Office. He spent the majority of his time defending the indigent in Clarendon and Lee counties. After a year of indigent defense, Gill signed on with the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor's Office under the Honorable Solicitor Donald V. Myers and subsequently the Honorable Solicitor Rick Hubbard. Gill spent nearly six years prosecuting crimes spanning from simple drug offenses to complex murder trials.
