Biography

Managing Senior Partner of the Firm, is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and has been active as a trial lawyer in the State of Florida since 1987. Mr. Levey served as the 2007-2008 President of the University of Miami School of Law Alumni Association and remains active with the Law School and UM Alumni Association. He is a member of the Dade County Bar, American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and is Past President of the Coral Gables Bar Association. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Federal Bar of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Mr. Levey served as an arbitrator in the Eleventh Circuit's Fee Arbitration Committee and is also a member on the Board of Arbitrators for the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and Financial Industry numerous securities cases and attorney's fees disputes. Mr. Levey has served on the Professional Committee of the Dade County Bar Association and has been a member of the Federalist Society, the Hoeveler-Spellman Inns of Court, Big Brothers Big Sisters Committee of 100, and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Mr. Levey served as the International Vice President of the Greater Miami and Broward Chapter of the American Jewish Committee from 2002 to 2008 and has been President of the Venetian Chabad since 2003. Mr. Levey has twice chaired the Immigration and Naturalization Ceremony scheduled each December in Miami-Dade County.
