Biography

Lillian J. Davis is a senior associate attorney in WSHB's office in Tampa, Florida. As an enthusiastic and skilled litigator, Lillian has extensive experience in the preparation of pleadings as well as settlement negotiations. At WSHB, she focuses on civil liability defense.

Originally from Paterson, New Jersey, Lillian received both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University. She also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Graduate School at Rutgers University-Newark.

Lillian began her legal career by representing indigent victims of domestic violence during her time with Legal Services of North Florida. Following that, she represented employers and carriers from client intake through to disposition. As an associate, she prepared pleadings, conducted depositions, litigated evidentiary motions, and represented clients in mediation and non-binding arbitration sessions.

Every September, Lillian proudly volunteers as General Counsel for the HBCU National Tennis Championships, held annually in Atlanta, Georgia, where she carries out tasks assigned by the Tournament Director.

Lillian is also actively involved in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, engaging in community service at local, regional, and national levels.
