Biography

Lindsay Korn is a member of the Casualty Department where she dedicates a large portion of her practice defending insurance carriers in disputes involving New York Personal Injury Protection claims. Lindsay also defends carriers against insurance fraud and is a member of the Fraud/Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Practice Group. Her case load involves both medical provider fraud and fraudulent claims on the part of the clients' insureds such as intentional/staged losses. She conducts Examinations Under Oath, depositions, mediations, and appears for bench trials and arbitration hearings.

Lindsay also handles insurance defense litigation for bodily injury cases. She has experience working on matters involving construction accidents, premises liability, professional liability, and employment discrimination.

Lindsay earned her B.A. at Boston University and went on to receive her J.D. at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. At Hofstra University, she served as Research Editor for the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal and was selected to publish her note on the circuit courts' analyses of the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Lindsay is admitted in the state of New York and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
